Aurora borealis

Mom woke me up at 3:00 AM one morning when we were in Minnesota. She said Aaron do you want to see the aurora borealis.l said sure and wrapped up in my blankets and went outside.

The aurora borealis were out the front door.  They were bright. We only saw blue and green in the sky because we were still so far away from the North Pole. We didn't see yellow and red but it was still pretty. So pretty almost I fell over. Then we all went inside and fell asleep.

I learned that you have to be very close to the North Pole to see all the colors. And that it is plasma that makes them

This isn't a real pic we weren't able to get a good one so we looked on Google.

It would look like this if we were further north
